Here she is all cleaned up and fattened up outside on the deck. My Vet said the same thing you did. She said, "they sure knew whose house to toss her out in front of". The best part is that she loves my girls. They bonded the first day and are inseparable. Her name is Princess. Since she had been adopted through the shelter, I was able to find out her name and age.
I have a fenced in back yard that is attached to the house where they play but all three are house dogs. I have one old dog in a different fenced yard outside.

She looks like my Macon, GA “black dog”. The vets just call these transplants “black dogs”.

She’s a dandy, what an honest little face. We have rescued two at different times. They are the most devoted and loyal of pets once they learn that they can trust you. Kudos to you for giving her a chance.
