I'm lately leery of breitbart...their writing has taken on a lefty smell..certainly a non-Trump smell

Claiming someone said something vs. interpreting what he said is 2 different things.

from the article

"The president then essentially seemed to suggest the “termination” of the U.S. Constitution could be allowable."

I started thinking about that after a discussion with a friend about marital vows and the point at which they’ve been broken. She was complaining that her husband had broken his vows by having an emotional affair. I asked her if she had been faithful to her vows to love, honour and cherish. She said yes. I like this woman, I like her husband, and I like them as a couple, but she hasn’t always been a nice or loving wife. I reminded her of some words and behaviours that suggested that maybe she had broken her vows first, and then he broke his. She conceded that she’d probably been less than a good wife and driven him away.

Similarly, if a party has rendered the Constitution inoperable by the usurpation and corruption of powers of and by other branches of government, and the damage is irreparable under the current circumstances, then termination isn’t even necessary. It’s already broken and not functioning as intended.

THAT is the way I took it.

The honored OATH is incontrovertibly linked to the Constitution.

The health of the US Constitution itself, in these times, is another question.

The Constitution has been shelved, to perpetuate a government take-over of the US government, by both Foreign and Domestic enemies.

The “Domestic” enemy is the Un-elected deep staters who are recommended and are never checked by congressional oversight.

Congressional Oversight is deprived of enforcement of the Constitution.

When elections are displaced by state legislatures who are charged to determine the “manner and place” of elections, instead abdicate their duty to unelected election boards and Secretaries of State who are corrupt.

The disgrace is owned by State Legislatures who fail to object to corruption and even reject their Authority.

The Constitution does not address stupidity and incompetence, in this specific case.

DeToqueville did.
