Doh! Just got back from reading the article, mea culpa. That being said, maybe this was another reason why Elon didn’t buy right of the bat. I wonder if he put in some language in the contract that shield him from liability?

Doh! Just got back from reading the article (I know, there goes my Freep cred), mea culpa. Probably another reason for the delay in purchase by Musk. Wonder if he had some contact language resolving his liability in this matter, such as recouping dinner if the purchase price is sued for the days beach? Not a lawyer, so don’t know if that is even legally feasible.
