By law, Congress can get any citizen’s tax return. In the House, the Chairman of the Ways & Means Committee can ask for any person’s tax return or for tax information. Right now Dems hold the Chairmanship, in Jan. it will flip to Repubs. So yes, Repubs could ask for Pelosi’s returns, or Hunter Biden’s or Joe Biden’s.
I’m kind of surprised Trump was able to delay things this long. Wish he could delay until Repubs are in charge in Jan, but the Treasury Dept has control of whether or not to send his tax returns.
