Whoops: messed up that previous ping. Here's the full version: Joe's joy over the conservative Justices could be short-lived. Under the same statute that led the Court to rule that House Democrats could get Trump's tax returns, it's possible that the Republican House majority could obtain Biden's returns. What if it turns out that Biden is indeed "the big guy," who skimmed some of Hunter's profits? Did Ol' Joe declare those ill-gotten gains on his tax returns?

Biden’s returns aren’t just available to Congress - they’re available to the public. Trump is the only president to not have made his tax returns public. To anyone not already a supporter, this likely casts a shadow over his candidacy, and suggests he has something to hide. In this respect, Trump should get over his need to be different and simply make his tax returns public, just like the rest of the presidents before him. That’s why the Supreme Court was unanimous in its decision.
