The University of Florida has rescinded a football scholarship offer to a high school prospect for using the n-word while rapping along with a song.
Standout quarterback Marcus Stokes, of Nease High School in Ponte Vedra Beach, posted a video of himself mimicking the lyric as he rode in a car.
“Welcome back, n—-,” he can be heard saying in the since-deleted two-second clip.
“I was in my car listening to rap music, rapping along to the words and posted video of it to social media,” Stokes wrote in a statement Sunday. “I deeply apologize for the words in the song which I chose to say.”

Well, yes the school did have a choice. They should have condemned the song....not the kid.
They only did this to him because he is white
I would file a lawsuit for racial discrimination and make them pay while going to a different school and beating then on the field
Let me know when this happen to a black player ….never
This echoes the Bolshevik/Communist rule in Soviet Russia where the uttering of a forbidden word had drastic consequences.
Where’s the Super Conservative Governor of Florida on this?
The Sheriff is near?...
Probably doing his actual job and not commenting on everything like some 18 y/o chick on FaceBook?...
How godlike can a person be? I’ll say one word, and a whole race of people crumble to the ground screaming.
What a tempest in a teapot.
If he had been black the school would be playing that video on their web site.
No. Libs are just afraid to tell them that they can’t use that word.
N-word=nigger, nigga, nigglet
C-word=cUnT
R-word=Retard, Retarded
Those are 3 off top of my head.
True they could have done that and created a backlash on the existing team, recruits and students that could have very easily crippled the program for a number of years.
Missouri had a similar situation a few years ago, cost the President of the University his job, eventually the head coach got fired, quite a few players transferred and the program went from a top15 team in the country to a team that is consistently losing, not to mention millions in lost revenue when boosters quit giving money.
They had a choice as well and went the opposite direction and still haven’t fully recovered
Unfortunately the kid is going to have a hard time finding a team at a Division 1 level
More Colleges out there who can use a QB, Marcus... UF is declining in FB... The SEC powers are Bama, Georgia Texas and Oklahoma. Maybe Tennessee...
