Scientists successfully reverse human aging process in breakthrough study

I didn't realize at first that the article was two years old, so I was worried there was going to be a run on the hyperbaric oxygen machines. Maybe there has been because they are already much more expensive than when I was first thinking about getting one.

My late but then 86-year-old mother got significant benefit from hyperbaric oxygen during her stroke recovery.

Niacin has a similar effect of getting more oxygen to the cells in the body. I wonder if it has similar benefits, and further wonder whether "stacking" hyperbaric with niacin would be even more beneficial.

IIRC Michael Jackson slept in one every nite.

Excuse me, but the thought of purchasing a ‘hyperbaric oxygen machine’ seems impossibly unrealistic to me for some sort of home use.

Where would one buy such a thing? What would they charge for one?

FWIW, a hyperbaric chamber probably weighs about a thousand pounds, I think a lot more than that. A seriously great supply of medical O2 would have to be accessible at 50 PSI minimum. This is not home use stuff.

The chambers must be large enough to accommodate very tall persons. The tympanic membranes (ear drums) must be pierced. They look like (to me) acrylic coffins. I doubt that I would ever enter one. They seem a lot worse than an MRI and the therapy can take many hours.

Anyone selling such devices is almost certainly a Scammer. A lot of hospitals do not have them because they are prohibitively expensive. True, the therapy itself can have remarkable results.
