No one ever says “doff” any more. I like it and kudos.

‘Doff’ in hospital settings during the last 2 years is a very common term.

They make instructional videos on how to properly ‘Don’ & ‘Doff’ PPE before entering Patient rooms. The protocols are very exact and they actually have people who stand outside of rooms and observe that Health Care workers follow the exact methods of gowning up precisely. Years before Covid, I have literally seen Nurses terminated on the spot for not properly tying up the required gowns. Nurse Managers can be really tough on people who do not properly submit to the regulations.

I literally have come to despise both of those terms.
