DNA

[I just ran a “PROTECT DNA” SEARCH and came up with this article.]

https://www.thewholejourney.com/blog/protect-dna

FROM THE LINK:

[There is a discussion of how to age gracefully. Can protect DNA by taking care of the length of the telomeres. It lists several ways to do this naturally, which I think most of us would advocate at least to some degree. Each of the items listed has specific means and info listed to achieve the goals]

Stress support
Sleep quality and quantity
Physical activity
High Intensity Interval Training
Yoga
High Antioxidants
Watch your blood sugar

AND

[There is now the ability to test for the length (and health) of the telomeres:]

“Find Out The Length Of YOUR Telomeres With A Genetic Test

Thanks to modern science, there are now DNA tests that can show us the length of our telomeres. TeloYears is a simple genetic test which reveals the cellular age of your DNA and allows you to see how well you are aging on a cellular level. It involves a simple finger prick test you can do at home and mail to the lab. The test uses statistical and scientific methods to measure your average telomere length and to determine your age in telo-years (based on the average telomere length of someone your same age and gender)...”

[NOTE: I don’t know if this testing is something which should be done, but reputable alternative medicine clinics such as Riordan Clinic in Wichita KS does offer this kind of service, for example. ]

“PROTECT DNA” SEARCH (Cont)

There are reagents for labs which are now available to literally protect DNA / MRNA if one is doing lab work working with such. Can find this kind of work not only for human labs, but work with livestock breeding as well:

https://www.lockdna.com/

This following article seems to be an article/ad touting their own integrity and advises people on how to get genetic testing safely done:

https://lifedna.com/how-to-protect-your-dna-data/

It advises us to:
Use companies we can trust (presumably theirs)

It makes the point that DNA data can be misused and can also be accessed by law enforcement especially in the free genetic test companies.

“A few DNA testing providers, such as GedMatch, Veritas Genetics, and MyHeritage, have had security breaches in the past.”

Delete your DNA data file from your computer

Install an antivirus software on your computer to limit possibility of others accessing your sensitive data as well as be sure your computer software is up to date and you use strong passwords.
