Thanksgiving iS amongnst us, what you cooking good looking?
I actually do the TG meal since it wasn’t a tradition my Japanese wife grew up with .... one of the few days I’m allowed in the kitchen. We’ve gone away from Turkey as the 4 of us just can’t polish it off - so now I get 2 chickens.
Outside of that it’s a salad, some greenbeans and the quartet of carbs: stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet corn, and mac’n’cheese.
We have one chicken for the meal and then I plop the rest of that bird and the second bird into a pot and make a chicken soup, with lots of veggies, and egg noodles from scratch. After my wife and kids got sick of black friday now instead they will wake me up early the day after to make the soup instead of waking me early to drive them around....I much prefer making the soup :)
