Poor Jim Cramer is on record calling FTX's Sam Bankman-Fried the JP Morgan of this generation. Is there anything Jim gets right?

If Cramer was so good at running a hedge fund, then why did he quit? There must have been more money in that than TV, right?

Good question. My post #15 referred to a contest someone set up between Cramer’s stock picks and those of ‘Leonard the Wonder Monkey’. Leonard was actually a computer program that picked stocks randomly. Leonard won, but just barely.
It’s been years since I’ve followed this. So I just did a quick search. From what I could find, “winning” was determined by return on investment.

These are not strong recommendations. They are snap calls of stocks from phone-ins.
Our method of evaluating Jim Cramer’s stock recommendations is simple. We record his Lightning Round recommendations as he makes them on TV, and then we have our monkey make recomendations at random on the same stocks. We then wait 30 days, and see who came out on top.

Don’t just throw up a link without citing how the link supports your point.
It’s worse than being wrong. Sometimes he was outright deceptive. He was using his pics to do front running with Maria bartiromo.
It did not take a genius to see that crypto was a high tech Ponzi scheme.
I’m sure there’s a Ken Lay (Enron) cover picture too.
I guess it’s time for him to cry on camera again like he did a couple weeks ago.
