The sovereign nation of Russia has been around much much longer than the US or Ukraine, and will continue right up to the “end”. Don’t argue with me, ague with Scripture.

Does Scipture say what is the size of russia?

the rise and development of Russian fascism

Except Russia has a 13 percent flat tax and very little public debt (about 15% of GDP). Can we borrow from Russian fascism?

Let’s see...Ukraine has banned all opposition media, banned opposition parties and imprisoned opposition leaders. It’s used neo-Nazis as frontline fighters. But, it’s Russia that is fascist?

Yes. It does.
You just have to move some letters around.
Just look harder.

Right, by invading its neighbor Ukraine. Okay

Wait a moment, didn’t your Russian friends claim to have LITERALLY annihilated Azov? How are they now Ukraine’s ‘main battle force’ if they were annihilated?

Seems to me your Russian friends lied to you. As usual.

The Donestk and Luhansk militias needed help. The Ukes were 10 miles outside Donestk City in January 2022.

So now the communists are becoming fascists?

Maybe 20% of Azov, in the Poroshenko years, was Nazi. Poroshenko’s, not Zelenskyy, gave the Nazis legitimacy - they even had elected representatives in the Rada.... Until the 2019 elections.

When Russia invaded, thousands of ordinary Ukrainian men signed up to the army, border guards and national guard. So the Nazi contingent actually got watered down even more. I personally know Russian Ukrainian men who stayed out of the Donbas conflict but in March volunteered to defend Ukraine and ended up getting their arms and training from the Azov batallion.

Weird, isn’t it... They could’ve signed up to the DPR at any time in eight years if they believed in it, but never did.

As Russia kept pointing out, the Nazis were identifiable by tattoos and social media. Most of tte people fighting with Azov weren’t nazis. The Nazis that got captured rather than killed were filtered out and haven’t been released in prisoner exchanges.

So Azov was denazified months ago, according to Russia. There are more active Nazis in Wagner today than there ever was in Azov and it’s even more the case today after Wagner started recruiting murderers, Nazis, rapists and even cannibals from prisons.

Ukraine, if you haven’t noticed, has been fighting off an invasion, not perpetrating one. In the context of civil wars and wars generally, opposition media and parties have historically been banned in the United States as well, not that I approve of the practice anywhere, but it has precedent.

The original Azov Battalion were already captured and interned with the fall of the Mariupol steel works, and they were on a par with the DPR in terms of violence to civilians and ultranationalism and Nazi insignia. Play a different card.

Yes, fascist Russia that makes a habit of invading neighboring countries on the supposed predicate of a secessionist movement funded, trained and sometimes entirely invented by Russia. Sudetenland, anyone? Russia, whose leader has stated his aim of restoring the former glory of, first Katherine the Great’s empire, then Peter the Great’s.

It might do you some good to listen with your ears to the contents of, rather than reacting to the title of, the video. It’s obvious from all that you’re saying that you are studiously avoiding that simple step. Very insecure.

The island chain of Java has almost the same size population as Russia, and is much more prosperous and free.

It’s irrelevant to the topic of the thread, or the content of the video being discussed. Russia is not becoming a fascist society because they invaded Ukraine. They have invaded and annexed Crimea, various ethnic enclaves in Georgia, and have supported separatist movements in Ukraine and Moldavia, and has stated its intent to continue conquering the former territories of imperial Russia until its glorious empire is restored, and to wage war on the west. Its children are being indoctrinated in this belief. Fascist.

Your rebuttal, there’s a video of Zhelensky partying. OK. Slavs get drunk and dance around to let off steam, even in the midst of a war. So have Americans, Germans, Brits and even Frenchmen. It’s deadly business, and people engaged in it sometimes get drunk in their off hours. BFD.

Actually the sovereign nation of Russia has been around only since 1990.

Until Ivan Grozny it was the Dukedom of Muscowy.

Ivan styled himself the Tsar of ALL the Rus.

That remained until Peter the great called himself the Emperor of the russias. Note the plural.

The sovereign nation of Russia dates to 1990.

When you guys keep saying “opposition parties” and media, I don’t think you mean opposition parties but pro-Russia parties.

In implementation there’s really not that much difference (that’s why troo communism has never been tried)

AFAIK, though, Putin has NOT outlawed opposition parties (just jailed/poisoned a few opposition leaders but that was during the Obama era and Hillary Great Reset era so everyone just looked the other way) nor has Putin nationalized industries like Zelensky has.

The only fascist I’m seeing here is, by definition, Zelensky.

Western media never mentions the “ first” Ukie war , ongoing since 2015. The US pretends to support Independence, but not when ethnic Russians declare their Independence, Independence from the corrupted nation of Ukraine.

The Russian Derangement Syndrome was invented by the Democrats, and foolish Americans bought in to it.

“Russian fascism”

Kacaps are primitive humanoids, perverts, thieves and murderers. What kind of ideology they put on top of that pile of crap is not really relevant.
