Ukraine Partners With FTX, Everstake to Launch New Crypto Donation Website [From March 2022]

FTX is converting crypto contributions to Ukraine’s war effort into fiat for deposit at the National Bank of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian government launched a new crypto donations website on Monday, streamlining its multimillion-dollar effort to turn bitcoin into bullets, bandages and other war materiel.

Other estimates place the amount closer to $100 million, but totals vary with market swings and exactly which websites are included.

The website deepens an unprecedented tie-up between public and private sector forces in crypto. FTX is converting donations into fiat for deposit at the National Bank of Ukraine, a press release said. It described this relationship as a “first.”

Everstake’s involvement allows more cryptocurrencies to be accepted by the website.

The central bank is using donations to support “humanitarian aid programs” as well as Ukraine's armed forces, according to the website. “The people will continue their fight for freedom, but they need more ammunition and necessities,” the website read.

“Crypto assets proved extremely helpful in facilitation of funding flows to Ukrainian citizens and soldiers, as well as in raising awareness and engaging people worldwide,” Oleksandr Bornyakov, an official at the digital ministry, said in a statement.

He hinted that an upcoming NFT collection “will give the next boost to the crypto fundraising process.”

(Also, whoever put 'gaslighting' as a keyword has no idea what gaslighting apparently means. The events described in the article actually happened, so it literally isn't gaslighting.)

It’s easy to separate the corruption of the Ukrainian government (which had for a long time been populated with pro-Russia types) and helping the Ukrainian people as they are being invaded and bombed by Russia.

Another Ukraine scam, to make money disappear from gullible do-gooders.

Someone here said ALL South American countries have extradition treaties.

True, but...

... there are countries that have extradition treaties with the United States, but which are known to often refuse extradition requests anyway include Ecuador, Cuba, Bolivia, Nicaragua, and Venezuela.

But it would be a stressful existence, wondering it they were going to get an offer from the US they couldn't turn down...

PS - I threw Cuba in as a bonus, even though it isn't in S. America.

“FTX is converting donations into fiat for deposit at the National Bank of Ukraine”

Most likely plenty of Neocons were parking their Ukraine kickbacks there. Oh well, it was just a bunch 1’s and 0’s, but now it’s all 0’s.

Maybe some of the warmonger Zeepers can put their money where their mouth is and instead of taking taxpayer dollars to support their proxy war, they can donate to Zelensky and post images here to prove their sincerity and compassion.

LOL, you funny!

So, who were the smart guys? The guys converting crypto into fiat, or the guys trading fiat for crypto?

FTX crypto exchange was a little more than a money, laundering operation run by the DNC.

Samuel Bankman Fried will never be arrested.

Money from the US taxpayers was sent to the Ukraine the Ukraine intern sent the money to FTX to buy crypto, and then the funds were sent back to the DNC.

I have noticed this for some time now, particularly on threads regarding Gateway Pundit. There is some douchebag on FR who feels it is a duty to post idiotic keywords with every thread concerning Gateway Pundit.

I don’t agree with everything they say over there, but they are at least reporting things, real things, and I don’t see the point of it.

And as you observe, we are seeing more of it on threads regarding other subjects.

Perhaps it has been around since I started, but I never really noticed it before.

Usually, I presume they come from someone who is too much of a pussy to enter a thread and debate an issue. Posting stupid and childish keywords appears to be about all the intellectual bandwidth they possess.

Given this post by Admin Moderator on another thread, I have a strong suspicion as to who added the keywords on this thread.
