This is clearly not related to any specific actions by DeSantis you disagree with, as I requested, but simply more projection. It's an expectation based on your experience, which you know I respect, but it is mere projection.
2. The Trump administration never issued COVID "lockdown" guidelines.
Again, I asked you for anything you believe DeSantis has done wrong other than follow Trump's guidance on lockdowns, which this point fails as well. Regarding your response, I believe it is provably, and factually incorrect. You may be trying to play a game of semantics, but there is no doubt that the White House issued their lockdown guidelines for the US prior to any actions by DeSantis.

Avoid gathering in groups of more than 10 people. Avoid discretionary travel. And avoid eating and drinking at bars, restaurants, and public food courts. Those of us who were on top of this in 2020 knew what this was all about. The Trump officials involved in the COVID response knew damn well that the U.S. government has no legal authority to impose widespread lockdowns. At best, the President of the United States can lock down military bases and close national parks and Federal buildings. That’s it.
And there was no damned excuse for that travesty of mandating 14-day quarantine periods for people traveling to Florida from other states. What made that even more preposterous was that DeSantis used the shutdown of international flights from China as a justification for it: "If people from China can't fly to Florida, then people from New York shouldn't be permitted to do it, either."
Anyone who can't see the distinction between a Chinese national and a U.S. citizen is a moron at best and a duplicitous totalitarian globalist retard at worst.
