I had 3 Trump flags flying in 2020. Had a Trump 2024 sticker on my car in a liberal county. But early Wednesday, when I was heartbroken that the red wave wasn’t even a trickle, I got up at 3AM hoping to find something encouraging...and read Trump calling it a great night for him!
He lost my support at 3AM Wednesday. He jumped the shark and made a big splash as he landed.
And if he lost me, then he’s lost WAY over 50% of America.
Womp. Womp.
I see the problem.
Pride comes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.
Right, another life-long Republican voting for Biden.™
Seriously, why don’t some of the people on this thread try reading up on the Dem frustration: they thought Roe v. Wade was going to give them a blue wave, and instead the MAGA crowd took the House — overcoming the cheating — and may take the Senate, when this spring all the Smart People™ were declaring how the Republicans were dead meat because they had so many Senate Seats to defend this election...
Before making decisions based on what the NY Times, CNN, NBC and the rest of the main stream media say isn't it a good idea to learn the actual facts?
The NY Times election page earlier today made it look like the NH state races for state senate and house were still undecided, and maybe the Democrats would end up in control. But for the state senate it was clear from the actual results that the Republicans had a majority.
Yesterday those media outlets were reporting that Kari Lake was losing. But today we have learned that many ballots are not yet counted, and she may well win the election.
There has been a massive effort to convince the public that there would be some giant "red wave" and then when the actual results came out the media said, oh, no massive red wave, it shows Trump is done for.
But there was a lot of misinformation. Take the NH House and Senate races. Beating Pappas or Hassan would be very difficult for any candidate. The very kind of candidate that supposedly would beat Hassan would be a moderate Republican who opposed Trump and his radical policies. That exact candidate lost to Hassan already and she was the incumbent NH Senator. Her name was Kelly Ayotte.
Don't be fooled by the media BS.
