With the kinds of attacks Trump is doing the only reasonable response is to stay silent. Right about now Desantis is sitting back saying, 'Hey, maybe I COULD be President'. He could end it all with a few well chosen words in support of Trump and unity. He could truly be the people's Governor and the next People's President, rather than a tool of the Deep State anti-Trump, anti-People's jihad.
