Just reading FR the past few days, I would suggest that TDS be redefined as Trump Delusion Syndrome. It would really apply here.

I just yesterday called it Trump Derangement Syndrome, Type II.

Type I is the obvious commies who will hate him just for being a Republican.

Type II is conservative EverTrumpers who swear the man can do no wrong and is the perfect everything.
