Sounds like some people still believe we have free and fair elections in this country…
Things change, always have and will continue.
Just look at the differing methods, rules of voting over the
history of this USA. Things evolve over time and I’m not sure
how you can change that.
Go back to 1492 when Columbus sailed and go close to this land.
Native Americans were rounded up and put on reservations. Africans
were brought in to cook/clean/wash the clothes/plant/harvest/manual
labor/etc and white male ruled.
Then things began to change over time. Women got more freedom,
slavery was abolished, people from around the world began moving
in with their customs/methods thus changes have occurred over time
and will continue, imo.
Outer space will be interesting as things develop along than frontier.
I want be around to see it but it would be very interesting imo.
Where my stupid co-workers stayed home because they wouldn’t vote for Dr. Oz.

That’s the playing field in PA, period... Has been for generations.
Trying to claim its evidence prima facia of bulk fraud is just nonsense.
You want to win in PA you have to absolute crush it with excitement and support among the GOP base... you need to win the independents and you better be able to peel alway some of the conservative/moderate democrats as well.
PA is winnable as an R, but run a crap candidate get a crap result... OZ was utterly and completely off brand... he stood no shot.. there was ZERO excitement even among the GOP base for this man, let alone anywhere else, the conversations about this election were basically the entire race is a crap show but at least Oz isn’t Fetterman... that’s not going to get you there.
Oz got the gift of gifts with Fetterman’s stroke, without that, and Fetterman able to properly campaign, OZ easily goes down 6-8 points.
This cycles candidates weren’t great but OZ was absolute the worst choice, by far.. This race was over before it began.. and sadly the $100,000,000 + spent on this race almost certainly cost wins in other places where if the money had been spent could have made a difference.
The national punditry who pushed this turd should absolutely be ashamed of themselves, and should be run out of town on a rail... but instead of being ashamed of themselves for their failures, they are going to try to deflect... and the people who let themselves be fooled by the con they sold them should be wiser next time and be open to input that doesn’t fit their preferred and desired narrative.

I am not a fan in any way of no excuse mail in voting, however, trying to claim that this is “proof” of fraud is just nonsense.
D’s got about 200,000 more voters this election than Republicans.... in a state that they have a 600,000 registration vote advantage.
Was their fraud, there is always fraud.. but fraud didn’t cost Oz the election... being an absolutely lousy candidate is what cost Oz this election.
The only reason OZ didn’t lose by 6-8 points was because Fetterman had a stroke.

This race was over before it began because Oz was the most off brand crap of a candidate I’ve ever seen... he had ZERO shot at a statewide win, completely off brand.
Had he run for some purple congressional district out east he’d probably have had a good shot at winning, but statewide? Not a chance in hell.

Stop being foolish. Oz Lost, and it was a miracle he lost by only 3%... Fetterman’s stroke is the only reason he didn’t lose by 6-8%.
Dems have a 600,000 registration advantage, the fact Fetterman got 200,000 + more votes than a really crappy and off brand GOP candidate shouldn’t surprise anyone.. in fact, if anything the surprising thing about those vote totals is that Fetterman ONLY got 200,000 more votes.

Trying to compare a very popular sitting governor running for re-election against an ex governor turncoat unpopular opponent to the PA Senate race? There is nothing remotely comparable about these races.

I am not angry at anyone who voted or refused to vote for anyone, that is their absolute right.

I am angry that what was absolute multitude of unforced errors that went into this entire situation.
I am angry that we just went through an election cycle, where literally, no one offered a real argument “for” their candidate, only that “the other guy would be worse”.. and that is now the defacto model of US elections.
I am angry that we have a “conservative” party that at best pays lip service to conservatives for their votes, but doesn’t remotely want or respect conservatives, particularly in the state of PA.
This election was without question the biggest joke of my lifetime.... Neither of these folks should not be on the ballot for dog catcher, let alone candidates for the US Senate.
This election was an absolute case study in exactly how ridiculous the US political system is today.
Literally $1 for every $3500 (approx) of the entire PA State GDP was spent to try to buy this seat for these nitwits, and the overwhelming majority of that money came from outside PA.. and yet, folks sit around and think whichever one who won was going to remotely give a rats hair butt about PA or the people of the state?? It’s ludicrous on its face.
I am angry, but it’s not at any individual voter for their votes or lack their of, they have very right to vote however they choose, for whatever reason they choose.. Whether I agree with them or not.

Wonder, is Toomey more wealthy today than the first time he ran for the Senate? I live in MO, and I can remember chatting at a soccer field with a dad from PA.. I asked him what were Toomey’s chances of winning that first election. He just locked his jaw and shrugged.. You cannot ‘buy’ loyalty or trust.

You seem to be confused... You seem to think I held up Toomey as a “great” conservative... I simply pointed out he’s more conservative that OZ, which he is.
So we kick out Toomey and the option to replace him we are given is an even less conservative person... no one should be surprised at OZ’s loss, no one.
He “retired” because he knew he would lose his primary.. his vote to convict Trump ended him.
