The Republican establishment and the democRAT establishment do not seem interested in their constituents. Only in their own power. There does not seem to be enough public will to vote them out.
I think free republic posters are trying to divide and conquer MAGA
Some here at FR are doing the same thing.
Trump’s hour has passed, but his galaxy-size ego will not permit him to step aside.
Here is the 2024 win-lose formula in my mind.
1. Every Trump fan will still come out and vote for DeSantis, if DeSantis is the 2024 candidate.
2. Ten million more Rats will come out just to vote AGAINST Trump, if he is the candidate. They won’t be nearly as motivated to come out to vote against DeSantis.
That built-in “hate Trump” Rat vote gives DeSantis the edge.
To the author: "Ya think?"
The establishment and their media tells nothing but lies …..
Hmm, too many people conflating MAGA with one man. Goldwater was the father of the conservative movement. He was sabotaged by the GOPe and lost. The movement? It didn’t die and lived on to have its champions win.
You mean like a former Chicagoan, Ken Griffin of Citadel who just moved to Miami?

Voter ID, finger ink like in India, vote in person only, and paper ballots only. Anything other than that is outright fraud.
It’s working, just read the myriad of elections threads posted on Fr within the past 10-12 hours.......
It doesnt help MAGA “unity” when Trump trashes Desantis.
Trump’s finished.
MAGA is just a slogan.
We need action.
True and by doing so, insured a Democrat win, damn near across the board.
Either the GOPe & the MAGA American factions make peace or the Republican party is as dead as the Whigs.
Maybe worse, splitting into two parties with neither able to build a majority
.
Trump fatigue has arrived bigly.
That was what election 2022 was all about. It really was very easy to do.
They refuse to call out the fraud. America is done.
EVERY movement is eventually absorbed. We need to work to hold them accountable.
They’ve been trying to gin up a Trump-DeSantis split for months. They’re still trying.
