Favorite line: Does this dress make me look fat? Yes, it does. Thank you very much.

And kegs of beer consumed, I’m sure. Riggins wasn’t a light-weight in that area.

I was in a bar once when Dave Butz walked in. He filled up the entire doorway.

"I couldn't care less about the current NFL and detest the name 'Commanders' but Butz was from a different era. A class act and great lineman who was part of a great and fun to watch football team. RIP Mr Butz!" Yes indeed!
What you said!
Hail To The Redskins!

Corrected for my notes:
Former Washington Redskins defensive tackle Dave Butz.
Butz signed as a free agent in 1975 after two seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals.
Was a mainstay on the Washington Redskins’s first two Super Bowl-winning teams.

They’ll always be the Redskins like the Indians will always be the Indians, Sears Tower always Sears Tower, and so on.

I was down in the Outer Banks back in the ‘80s and went to a McDonald’s there and I’m standing behind this dude he’s like a huge guy I’m 6’5 and this guy was big and he was Broad shouldered and I turned around to my ex and whispered “look at the size of this guy”
Anyway we were like third or fourth in line and he gets up the counter makes his order gets his order and turns around, it’s Butz. Gave a nod, he returned it. He was massive, I can’t imagine blocking that.
That might have been the first NFL player I ever stood next to, there’s been a couple more since and they were all huge.

Went to same high school as our four kids..Maine South, Park Ridge, IL. Graduated 1969 ...4 years after Hillary Clinton. When America was still America.
Amazing how a true All-American and the scum of the earth can come out of the same institution.

You have him confused with someone else. Dave Butz did not play center but defensive tackle. You should know this.
