When everything you say and do is a lie, the physical world will eventually crush you. The amount of time, energy, resources, and money, that must be spent to sustain the lies becomes ever increasing as the realities of the physical world presses down on you.
That is where the DOJ and FBI are today. Everything they do is to manage their lies and deception. They have such a mountain of lies that all resources are spent containing rock and mud slides. Every poke or inquiry has the potential to bring the whole mountain down.
