Canada has decided to cease issuance of real return bonds, which have a coupon that is linked to the level of the consumer price index, effective immediately, due to low demand for the product.
Canada will now issue Ukraine Bonds. ( high demand??? 🙂 )

I can attest that Elmhust Hospital was indeed overwhelmed in early April of 2020 as I was there for two days 5th to 7th. I had covid but did not think I was that bad off but went to calm my family’s nerves. Besides chesr xrays and IV drip I was mostly ignored. Almost impossible to get something to drink or eat. Luckily I was given HCQ and azithromycin and sent to Javits Cent on the afternoon of the 7th. There was no one at the Javits Center but the US Army medical from Fort Hood. I was sent home on Good Friday. That being said my older brother not yet 60 was at Elmhurst at the same time as me and was killed while on a vent. Don’t ever go on a vent!!!! This is a very short Synopsis of what occurred. over a span of 28 or so days. I am also unvaxed!

The Effect of Influenza Vaccination for the Elderly on Hospitalization and Mortality: An Observational Study With a Regression Discontinuity Design

Objective: To determine the effectiveness of the influenza vaccine in reducing hospitalizations and mortality among elderly persons by using an observational research design that reduces the possibility of bias and confounding.
Results: The data included 170 million episodes of care and 7.6 million deaths. Turning 65 was associated with a statistically and clinically significant increase in rate of seasonal influenza vaccination. However, no evidence indicated that vaccination reduced hospitalizations or mortality among elderly persons. The estimates were precise enough to rule out results from many previous studies.
