I just read some bad news (for me) from Friday. The jab requirement to enter the US was supposed to expire on November 8 (today) but it’s been extended to January 8, according to the article linked below. The article states the TSA made the extension, but my own research shows that Homeland Security made the decision after consultation with the CDC, citing the great disparity in hospitalization and death rates among the unvaccinated as compared to the vaccinated. The lies continue.
It also looks like Homeland Security didn’t provide a duration for the extension, saying the requirement may be amended or rescinded at any time. This makes the US one of the very few countries still requiring covid jabs for entry, even though everyone knows by now that the jabs do not prevent transmission of covid. I was hoping to re-visit Texas in late November, but that looks unlikely now.
