Weston I am glad to see you are still able to post the thread. I know you were quite sick for awhile.
Judy so happy to see your daughter won her political race. Pray she can make a difference.
I don’t post much anymore but check in once in awhile and scan through the posts. I have been busy writing letters to my councilmen trying to convince them to not let a retail Cannabis store in my town. Back in 2012 when Washington State made it legal my town council voted in an ordinance preventing retail sales of it here. Now with a whole new council 10 yrs. later the City manager, (who also is new), thought it might be a good idea to take another look at it. Most of the people I have talked with don’t know this is happening but when I tell them they say they don’t want it here. I am afraid though they (the council) are going to vote to lift the ban on it anyway. :-(
I don’t know if legalizing Cannabis, or the fact that our State Legislature banned the police from pursuing anyone, or the fact the Legislature won’t let them arrest anyone that only has a certain amount of Heroin, Cocaine, etc or if it is all the illegals coming in, but our crime rate here has gotten really bad in the last 10 yrs. As 3 cities combined we have a population of 308,293 and almost everyday there are head on collisions, drive by shootings and murders. I have gotten where I don’t even want to leave the house.
I had a bit of a medical issue but a biopsy determined it was not cancer. Thank God for that.
Good to hear from you, Spunky.
Things sure are getting very scary in our country for sure.
Glad to hear your health issue was not cancer.
So good to hear from you Spunky! I miss your posts. I’m very happy to hear you don’t have cancer.
I was thinking about your community and all the illegals. I can only imagine how much worse the situation is since Biden opened the borders.
PTL it was not cancer.
Good to see you, Spunk.
Hi Spunky!
So nice to hear from you, and glad your health concern wasn’t cancer.
I fear the dems have the fix in already with the machines - they seem to be feeling like they’re going to be ok.
Sorry to hear that your area is so crime ridden. It really does make you want to stay home. Being a recluse certainly has its advantages these days! I know by experience!
Thank God it wasn’t cancer.
Praying your town council will do the right thing.
My rural town in Oregon has so far rejected Cannabis Dispensaries. There was a measure on the ballot this time to not allow psychedelic mushroom dispensaries. Hopefully that gets voted in.
Oregon and Washington are messed up!
Hi spunky, great to hear from you! That’s so sad about the crime in your city. I see we had a shooting in Johnson City last night, it’s only about 50,000 people. It’s no longer safe, even in the country.
I hope you stay well and check in to let us know how you are doing.
