I thought DeSantis would be a great VP pick because it would then be even easier for him to take the baton in 2028. The VP position, I would think, would be pretty flexible. There’s nothing to say the president can’t give heavier roles to the VP.....and he can certainly give his opinion and advice on anything and everything. It’s only, perhaps, a miniscule role IF it’s made that way. JMHO.
The one thing I will say about RD is that he has gone from being a hero - a fabulous governor, to a political opportunist. No matter how good he was, it would be the weasel move of the century to hook up with the Ryan/McConnell/Pence establishment swamp creatures for his own ambitions rather than wait 4 years. Not a big ask for a young man with a young family. Nasty thing to do to Trump, not to mention the chaos it brings to MAGA.

Yes! I am at my brother’s house in Peoria, AZ- CD 8, with Congress Critter Debbie Lesko representing me and mine in the sewer, better known as the Capital of the United States of America.
I have a goal of living this winter in Alpine, AZ, population 145. It’s just a mere 5 miles west of the Land of Enchantment- NM, at an elevation of 8,000’. There is a working sawmill nearby, and I will be looking to take advantage of this unique operation. (Putting on my thinking cap.)
I’m a cold sleeper too, Dolly, but- right now, I am sleeping inside the house, on - a - bed, of all things, with the ability to open a rather large window at night for deep natural ventilation. My friend says that I am institutionalized (to the outdoors). He’s right! LMAO
