LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Members of the Culinary Union were out on Friday and plan to be out this weekend knocking on voters’ doors and calling them, urging them to fix the issues with their ballots so their votes can be counted.
Linda Hunt is one of 200 Culinary Union workers helping Clark County voters cure their ballots.
“We get a list, and we go to each address, we knock, and if the voter doesn't answer, then we call them,” Hunt said.
If your ballot needs to be cured, it most likely means your signature needs to be verified. And until you do, your ballot can't get counted in the midterm election.
“Call the hotline number, put it on speaker, and they will ask you three short questions, and you can verify that information. ‘I already called, and they say my vote is correct.’ Alright, yay. I'm so glad your vote has been cured, and your voice is heard,” Hunt said....
