What's different with this crime you ask?

Paul is the guilty party. The cops are doing everything possible to make the "perp" appear guilty.

Since perp was in his underwear, where did he hide the bag of zip ties? He breaks in and strips immediately? That's a weird burglar. BTW, no mention of what Paul was wearing or not.

I do have one tiny theory. Perp was actually Paul's caretaker.That's why the wellness check. Perp was to keep Paul in line. While perp was sleeping upstairs in his underwear, Paul had a tantrum downstairs. That's why the perp was asking for nancy. That's why nancy is so quiet. We do not know anything about Paul's physical or mental health.
