Oftentimes, you will find that the poorest people are the most generous, kind and engaging.
In my experience, yes as well. Although I do know one ridiculously wealthy family who are amazing. The patriarch came from West Virginia and grew up in abject poverty. Still, he learned computers in the army, took that knowledge, made a career out of it — took a risk on buying a failing business college just outside of DC and turned it into a for profit tech school. He then sold the college, got a serious sum in return, and now runs a charitable trust that gives scholarships to every highschool graduate in the Tampa area (and surrounding counties.)
The man is a dear friend and mentor, and his sons and grand children are amazing — but they are exceptions to the rule.
