A woman says she found her lost pet cat in a disused church after she had a dream it was trapped there. Nikki Myring-Thomas, 50, was frantic with worry when her three-year-old tortoiseshell moggy Inka went missing for four days.
After days of worrying that Inka had been run over, a fearful Nikki was on the verge of giving up.
But Nikki then says she had a dream Inka was trapped inside a nearby abandoned church. She went straight there in the morning and spotted the cat behind a window of the empty church.

She said: ''I had this dream that Inka was locked in St David’s Church that overlooks our estate. I woke up at about 4am and thought that was a bit weird and then just fell back asleep.
"I just called her name into the window, and lo and behold I could just hear this little meowing coming from inside. I just immediately knew it was my cat.
"I called her name again and suddenly she jumped up onto the window of the church and I could just see her through the leaded glass."
“If I hadn’t had that dream, I wouldn’t have thought to go and check out the church."

Lucky kitteh!
St. David is the patron saint of Wales, not cats.
A cat in a nearby disused building.
Who would think to look there?
So the cat had a lot of praying to catch up on.
Cat had a walkabout.

Cat was probably pampered to being with. Now the cat will be pampered even more. Cats find humans are easily trained.
Maybe there’s something to the old idea of witches and their feline familiars.
The cat was not lost, it knew right where it wanted to be.
“Tearful woman’s ‘weird’ 4am premonition...”
Jacked up headline......the story says dream.
Either way I’d chalk it up to women’s premonition, which is as real as the Empire State Building......over our 30 year marriage my wife has demonstrated it on countless occasions.
No joke....it’s uncanny and can make the hair on the back of my neck stand up.
And I bet I’m not the only one who’s experienced it either.
Intuition not premonition

This cat identified as a whale.
I hope she makes that cat a house cat now.
The cat meowed “I thought I escaped crazy woman. Sanctuary. Sanctuary!”
I wanted to make a house for outside cat one time.
I learned one shouldn't Google "cat house" at work.
Amazing how the cat managed to break through all those justs.
About 10 years ago we had 5 cats at once. One of our brood disappeared for several days. We posted signs about “Lost cat—Needs Medication” but no responses. I loved that cat, he was a cream colored orange tabby with a beautiful broad face, and muted striping. We called him Fred.
About 5 days into his disappearance I was in bed and suddenly awoke at 3:00 AM because I felt a prompting I had to go out to our deck to bring Fred in. Sure enough, he was out there. We marvel about that experience years after his passing. “It’s 3:00 AM, I have to go get Fred...” Seems crazy, but it’s true.
Church mice are the easiest to catch that’s why it’s there, duh!
