Let's just say, people aren't going to be binge shopping on Amazon when their discretionary income is going towards heating their house and buying food. Consumer spending is going to take a hit during the worsening economy in 2023.

Down 5% now. Guidance might help recover[they beat], but who knows. Eco numbers come out premarket tomorrow as well. We might hit yearly lows on qqq’s etc.

Gonna be hard for Joe, Nancy, and Mitch to convince the voters that the economy is going through the roof and to maintain the electoral status quo when the stock market starts going through the floor.

Most Americans aren’t playing the markets daily. Overall, we still have a decent economy, even with the fed bringing the interest rates. The only reason the markets are even where they are now is because of the fed and congressional handouts the past several years. Go back to the bailouts too if ya want.
