Whether cracking a few cold ones on your back deck or cozying up with a warming stout at a pub in the fall, you gotta love a good beer. In fact, Americans reportedly drink about 6.3 billion gallons of beer every year.
But, as any consumer of domestic, imported, and/or craft beer knows, not all beers are created equal. And some beers simply aren't worth the price—whether they're overpriced for what they actually are (some bottles cost over $200!) or because of where you're buying them (ballparks and stadiums, we're looking at you).
Read on for our list of the most expensive beers and decide for yourself if such brews as barrel-aged high-ABV beers, ballpark pours, or day drinking at the airport is worth your hard-earned dollars. Plus, don't miss These Are the 25 Worst Beers in the World.

“Don’t mess with the Moose” was one of my mantras in high school (1981).
Founder's Breakfast Stout is the best beer in existence.
Also video for the memory hole...
I drank Mickey’s in college, too.
On those rare occasions that I drank, back then: too busy studying.
I’ve loosened up with age.
My beer of choice is Genesee N.A.

I get it at Wegmans for $14.49 a 30 pack (cans).
Best beer, best price.
I like Labatt Blue N.A. in bottles, but it is too expensive.

If you drink to get drunk, you have a serious problem.
There is NEVER a good reason to get drunk.
High dollar beers are a ripoff and waste of money, I’ll take my $4.49 6 pack of Nati Light over any craft beer any night. Beer snobs are no fun.
That’s far more low brow than us.
Impressive.
CBS or KBS? I tend to prefer the CBS, depending on year. But both are absolutely delicious. Just can’t drink a lot in one sitting! I’m taking a sixpack of CBS out to my brother in Philly for Thanksgiving.
I will have to try Hai Ali. I liked Florida Man even though I moved back after over 20 years in Colorado I was born in Florida. So, when I am not in a police chase or watching my trailer burn down, I am sampling new beer. Sometimes I say “hold my beer while I try to grab that alligator’s tail”.
“That’s far more low brow than us. Impressive.”
I tried one so as not to seem like a pussy. This was in the early 80’s and I thought Coors was the supreme beer cause you couldn’t get it in Nashville. I was really bad. Cheap but really bad.
AKA The Beast
I’m more of a KBS than CBS, but both are very good.
We call them big boy stouts...
“sports parks are out of control”.
I went to go see Whiskey Meyers at the Woodlands Pavilion a few weeks ago, I asked what a drink of ART CAR IPA from Saint Arnolds Brewing would be, they told me $18.75 a piece.
A 20 ounce can of Miller Lite was $16.00.
Total insanity.
I would have drank it too.
“Don’t be a poon.” was very powerful in my early 20’s.
Anything from Founders.
Anything from Odd13.
Anything from Toppling Goliath.
followed by Three Floyds, Samuel Smith's, Voodoo Ranger(New Belgium), Lagunitas and so on.
Definitely an IPA or Stout guy but my beer fridge always has at least two dozen different brands and styles in it. Most of them made with Mosaic, Citra or Cascade hops.

You're overpaying by about a buck if you're paying that for Natty Light. I drank plenty of crap beer like that in my day, then I got a job and now I don't have to.
tis what I drink
crazy!
What a great culture.
See it almost daily.
I’m outside Philly.
