Ben Shapiro has long been a strong advocate for the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines, believing that taking them was a socially responsible measure that might save someone's grandma and even slow or prevent the spread of the virus. On Tuesday, Shapiro stated that, like many others, he had been deceived about the efficacy of the vaccines, particularly with regard to their ability to prevent viral transmission.

On Tuesday's episode of "The Ben Shapiro Show," Shapiro stated, "It is now perfectly clear that we were lied to. And we were lied to at a very high level and from very, very early on by both the vaccine companies, in terms of the ability of the vaccine to prevent transmission, and ... by our politicians who apparently knew better."
Shapiro's admission and sense of betrayal comes, in part, after Pfizer executive Janine Small stated on Oct. 10 that the company did not know if the COVID-19 mRNA vaccine it had developed with BioNTech would prevent viral transmission before the drug went on the market.

That efficacy rate was always known, between absolute and relative risk. Also, it was intuitively obvious that all sorts of COVID-vaccinated people got COVID, and that the CDC and Fauci shifted from saying it could stop infection to it can reduce symptoms of COVID, but you still had an active infection and shared it with everyone around you, just like a non-vaccinated person, but maybe with fewer sneezes.

I got the vaccine. I’m around my 91 year old mom a lot. I’m also high risk.
I was wrong. I didn’t realize how political and greedy our medical establishment is.
Given his generally skeptical mind I don’t know why he thought they would not lie in this instance. Is he not a critical thinker?

I am a Trump supporter, but he didn’t help I guess. He was pushing the quick “vaccine” rollout. Perhaps he made many conservatives less skeptical.
I still appreciate that Trump opposed economic lockdown and mandated shots. But I wish he had not invested in the idea that a ramrod fast shot for people was a good idea. It takes decades to develop good, safe, effective shots for a reason. Sometimes they never get developed. We still have AIDS. and the common cold.

When i read my copy of the Constitution, it says we have the right to peaceably assemble.. it does not say we have the right to peaceably assemble “unless there is a covid pandemic”... etc
The government had ZERO right to take away our freedoms based on a cold virus. The Democrat Governors / Secs of State had ZERO right to rig the election by sending out millions of mail in ballots, illegaly, in violation of the Constitution without state legislatures’ approval. These people MUST be held accountable for what they have done or this country is finished.
Lots of FReepers do the same when they continually proclaim there is no point in voting and it’s all rigged and Dem and Rep are the same animal.
I am all for exposing voter fraud but in the meantime VOTE and get all likeminded people to vote with you.
Ben Shapiro may have been fooled but many FReepers (myself included) were not.
