Couple things to remember about Musk taking on twitter. First, remember that Musk speaks the language. He’s the guy that built/sold Paypal, so he’s noway a newbie.
Then remember that Musk is the DOD’s biggest supplier. He’s good buds with that crowd and that would way over ride any sniveling from CIA.
But the scum is deep. The interconnections are incestuous. Zukerberg’s (fakebook) dad is (ex) CIA. The Fakebook server farm near Prineville, OR has grown to be bigger than the NSA farm in Provo, UT. No way is it just storing family pics. The farm is on the biggest fiber optic line in the country.
We already have enough congressional testimony as to twitter responding to gummint requests to block one side of various issues, like, oh, say, elections.
Then we have the story this week about twitter cutting 75% of payroll. They see Musk’s kitchen sink coming and I expect a lot of tracks covering is going on. The picture is going to change bigly in about 12 days. I just don’t see Musk holding back on making Twitter profitable——in one way or another.

It currently IS profitable...through black money support.
Therein lies Musk’s problem.
He either takes YEARS of internal investment to replace the black money or sticks with it to satisfy shareholders who want their quarterly dividend.
