Have a friend who just got over Covid and her sense of taste is very enhanced, can really taste the salt in everything and the sugar etc.
Anyone know of anyone who has had this problem and what to do about it.
Have a friend whose brother was 7 years free of leukemia and now its back and also has Afib.
Vaccines
Enjoy

I have heard the same stories about salt and sugar taste after Covid. I’ve also heard that coffee tastes terrible. (The horror!) I have read that the body utilizing all resources of zinc to fight the virus is what causes the taste/smell changes, so maybe dose up on zinc?
Yes my taste has changed a bit. I can’t eat very many chips and I rarely eat crackers (because gluten free are kind of nasty), but I might try to eat some tortilla chips and just gag on how salty they are. Course a tasty Pepsi might help, but I don’t drink soda lol.
Sweet, yeah things are sweeter, too. So I just don’t eat as much. I sometimes drink this Lyfefuel stuff and boy is it sweet now. However.. I made a cake for my dil’s birthday and I must say my frosting was perfection and I could have eaten the whole bowl 😂.
I don’t consider this a problem, but more of a blessing lol.
L-arginine (a natural amino acid) normalized my sense of taste after 3 days. Learned about this via a friend from Costa Rica where this is common knowledge.
