TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — A man who was arrested earlier this week for striking a man in he had never met before in the head with an axe has had his charges upgraded to first-degree murder after the victim died from his injuries.
Monday evening, Israel Trejo was in a home near 15th and Denver attempting to buy an axe from someone and dealt a fatal blow to 22-year-old James Patterson's head, who was eating on the couch. The two had never spoken to each other before.
The victims next of kin should hit Trejo on the head with the same axe.
This is America.

Some things you don’t want to sell from your home unless you know who may be buying. Guns, preassembled bombs, caustic or flammable acid solutions, knives, swords, safety pins, skewers and axes are usually at the top of the list.
Craigslist is not for everthing.

He committed a violent crime with witnesses and probably video.

Meanwhile a perp in Upstate NY who had just gotten no-bailed on a domestic violence charge, goes up to the car his wife and kids are sitting in and he shoots his wife dead.
That perp gets charged with second degree murder.

Obviously, Señior Trejo had to test the ax before he bought it. What if it was defective?
