Additional thought...

Is this trigger longer that what you’re accustomed to?
This could account for weak side shot placement as your finger is not fully seated, flesh center on the trigger, pushing the frame left in your squeeze, as you’re accustomed to a shorter trigger, which is your “natural”.

It’s a short trigger. Which I don’t like, but I can deal with it until my new trigger arrives. Yes, I’m already tweaking the gun. Long fingers, long triggers on most all of my guns. At least the ones that can be altered.

I’ll de-burr and polish the new bow before I install it.
