A New York City man has been arrested after setting fire to a restaurant that got his order wrong.
Choephel Norbu, 49, set the blze at the Bangladeshi Ittadi Garden and Grill in Queens in the early morning hours of Sunday.
Video released by the Fire Department of New York shows a man, allegedly Norbu, waiting outside the restaurant in the darkness.
He is dressed in all black and holds a plastic bag with unknown contents. Several seconds in, he bends over to grab a bucket right next to him.
Court records obtained by the New York Post say that Norbu told officers the whole incident was ignited over a botched order from the Bangladeshi restaurant.
'I was very drunk. I bought chicken biryani. They didn't give me chicken biryani. I was mad, and I threw it out,' Norbu said of his October 1 order.
He told investigators that he believes the restaurant gave him the wrong dish.
'I bought a gas can, and I threw it at the store to try to burn it out. I lit it up, and boom, it got on me,' said the man, who allegedly scampered away from the scene with his shoes on fire.
Video captured by CCTV outside of the restaurant shows him pick up the bucket and toss its contents through the slots of the business' gates.

This is justified. Not giving him chicken biryani is a major provocation.
Who among us has never torched a restaurant over an order of Chicken Biryani?
Set him on fire.
L
Dude takes his chicken biryani seriously.
Now if it was lamb kurma....
Yeah? That sets me off every time too. It's an ages old Bangladeshi psychology play. No Biryani and they make you pay for it anyway... Drives people absolutely insane.
I got some outdated yogurt this weekend, and have got fresh mint lying around.
And a deal on chicken legs.
I just have to remember to give this guy some, or there'll be trouble.
I won't mention the outdated yogurt, just to be on the safe side.
Don’t forget the onions.
“Who among us has never torched a restaurant over an order of Chicken Biryani?”
we all did until they told us to stop setting our farts on fire in the restaurant.
Dumb bastard is lucky he didn’t set himself on fire...and he might have.
Didn’t have to post bail. He’s out. Court date in two weeks. Wonder if he’ll show upl.
Mine was over chicken vindaloo, but yeah.
Looks like he hotfooted it out of there!
Exactly...
Friggen guy was standing in the gas puddle when he lit it. He got off easy.
“Choephel Norbu”
Sherpa name.
"I'll just set the restaurant on fire."
