I've been a Moody Blues follower since 1967, and I never thought of them as a Christian band. Mike Pinder was decidedly Christian, but he left the band in 1980 to be replaced by Pat Moraz.

I viewed them in their earlier years as more New Age than traditionally religious. In their later years they were merely commercial. They even did a disco number on the "Long Distance Voyager" album.
