I read when she was elected that her father was a Republican. Unusual, if she really was raised by a Republican and came through the US MIL and then happily ran with the Hawaiian Democrats to her own defeat, but stayed stubbornly a Democrat after the loss, until now.
I’m afraid Tulsi may be a very charming opportunist. She needs time to climb over the fence.

She will have to prove to me that she is serious, the same way President Trump did. I won’t condemn anybody that is serious about making changes, but that doesn’t mean I will take them at their word either. Talk is cheap.
