Why are they wasting time teaching him? He wanted to represent himself so if he bungles that then it’s on him. I would talk way over his head and not hold his hand! He is being purposely difficult. This guy is a joke! I can’t believe he is putting the victims families through this.
He’s creating the environment of a trial where he didn’t understand the process or his own defense. My guess is that an outside attorney has coached him to do this.
I think the judge and the prosecutor are doing what they feel is necessary to avoid having the conviction overturned on appeal. They can’t let his strategy work.
He’s going to be more than a little sore when he’s in the pokey.
Perhaps the word you need to describe this bastard’s behavior is Bamboozling. And the fools running the court system are completely clueless.

yup, he’s gonna do samesame as SaltyCracker and Popp and do an hour on the tube, get as many people watching as possible them dump utube and everybody goto Rumble bit-chute etc to screw up their algorithm

I think he hopes that there’s a juror that has antipathy towards the US legal system, believes treat he’s intellectually impaired or crazy or has some type of racial sympathy and votes to acquit.
If he just went along with the system, the trail would soon be over.
This whole thing is quite a show.
