Might want to check out Father Brown, Midsomer Murders, Inspector Frost, and for medieval whodoits Cadfile.
“and for medieval whodoits Cadfile.”
Think you mean “Cadfael”
Good series, I may have to watch a few episodes been awhile since I watched one.
It was pretty accurate on it’s portrayal of Medieval life.
The Shrire-Reeve (sheriff) was the only one who had a sword and chain mail. His deputies had only wooden clubs and padded leather.
All those shows entrall me.
Especially Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries. Alas it was cancelled [AU]. The period clothing, cars, settings, etc. are wonderfully done.
Another show I love is Doc Martin.
Seen Brown, most all of Midsomer, and Cadfile. will find Frost. I find these more textured and complex.
Might want to check out Father Brown/
Another great series.
In the process of watching the series, Midsomer Murders, in order first aired, on Roku’s
FreeVee. This is after seeing bits and pieces of them on
Pluto Midsomer Murders channel on Pluto. Chief Inspector
Tom Barnaby is just about to be replaced by Chief Inspector
John Barnaby.
Look forward to seeing Death in Paradise follow the example
for a second look at these enjoyed series.
