Everything is going to be useless during a power outage. EV’s won’t charge, but pumps won’t pump either.
Overall, we need more nuclear, places like CA could easily tap into more ocean generated power (because the Pacific is a little wilder and more powerful than the Atlantic), etc.
The problem is that we have a ruling class that wants to shut down life for all the rest of us plebes.
There are hand operated pumps. Those are used on every farm. A hand-cranked generator would be a real chore.
