I would then take time to go over pitfalls or starting steps found in that approach.
Often suggesting a “correct” approach.
Based on the answer, each white student should complete the assignment using the black students’ approach.

“There’s more than one way to skin a cat,” said the teacher. Responded the students who’d never heard the saying, “Ewww, Mrs. B! That’s terrible!” Then we’d have an English/History lesson to boot🤓
