Fiona Hill LOL
Lots of folks on this site respect her point of view.
Sad
It’s Fiona Hill in the Council on Foreign Relations publication. Might as well be reading Klaus Schwab and company.

“ I got attacked personally in this thread for posting an article writen by Fiona Hill”
I’ve lost patience with the Putin fan boyz.
Yeah , they are also upset that we aren’t embracing WaPoo, Politico, The Hill, The Atlantic, yahoo, Reuters, and Pravda Ukraine etc.
Problem is that the internet is disappearing when it comes to conservative content. People now cheer along with the left.
Oh, but this crowd around here makes it sound like they were best buddies. Z made that face because he knew what was being planned.
It means you are a useful idiot who can’t support his claims and expects somebody else to do it for him.
Nope. It actually means that unlike arrogant you, I am willing to listen and learn from different viewpoints. I don’t pretend to set my beliefs about this issue in stone. At least not yet.
Only by gathering information from various viewpoints can one come up with the truth.
Actually, Zelensky waited until Trump left office in January; then he had a decree approved by his government in March (undoubtedly after consultations with the Biden administration...Nuland) which called for them to use all means necessary to defeat the Donbass and retake Crimea.
None of this would have ever happened had Trump been re-elected. As you can see in the video Trump expected him to resolve the problem with Putin.
Unfortunately, since the Obama/Putin administration’s goal was to use Ukraine to provoke Putin, destabilize and weaken Russia resulting in Putins’s removal Zelensky’s orders were changed from Trump’s instructions.
The rest is history.
The other side was always operating behind Trump’s back all four years. Obama and other RATs were violating that Hatch Act and were out there undermining and telling countries that Trump would soon be gone. The plotting was always going on.
Some in our military were purposely not following Trump’s orders and doing what they saw fit to do behind Trump’s back.
You used the above statement to rebut my factual statement (https://freerepublic.com/focus/chat/4097650/posts?page=13#13).
No one has come to your rescue.
Odd that you aren't able "summaruze the Ukranian perspective" yourself, since you are so knowledgeable on the subject.
Why don't you do it now to prove you are not a mindless, know-nothing, useful-idiot robot.
Yes, Col. Douglas MacGregor said that the Pentagon never told Trump we had sent troops to Africa and that while Trump knew we had troops in Syria he was not told when they sent additional troops.
Speaking of MacGregor Will Cain interviewed him about the Ukraine war and he mentioned two interesting things I had not known about.
1. Israel tracks Russia’s military bases and just in the last few days Russia has positioned 7 strategic bombers at the facility they will use for bombing Ukraine. Probably part of the new offensive.
2. Germans do not believe Russia attacked the pipelines (despite what the U.S. is trying to get people to think) and polls show they want Germany to stop sending weapons and negotiate and end to this war.
Sorry, that should read Obama/Biden administration (not Putin)...:-)
RE: Odd that you aren’t able “summaruze the Ukranian perspective” yourself, since you are so knowledgeable on the subject.
Because unlike you, I don’t presume to know everything going on in that area. Therefore, to say that I pretend to be knowledgeable about this issue is inaccurate. I ASK QUESTIONS! That’s the only way to know and learn.
I do know however, that there are always two or more sides to a dispute. I don’t just accept one perspective as the authoritative one, certainly not only yours.
And you are unable to think for yourself and gather information and come to a conclusion?
You are only able to think what somebody else tells you to think?
RE: And you are unable to think for yourself and gather information and come to a conclusion?
To be able to thibnk for oneself, one must have all the data and opinions presented to him.
You have your side, I want to hear another side.
"Presented."
You have just proved beyond all doubt that you are incapable of thinking for yourself.
Not wasting one more second on a mental invalid.
RE: You have just proved beyond all doubt that you are incapable of thinking for yourself.
Nope, I have just proven beyond all doubt that I am capable of asking the necessary questions to form a valid opinion. The first one is this — other than your opinion, which is Putin’s perspective, isn’t there an Ukranian perspective? Of course there is, otherwise, why do we have this conflict to begin with?
YOU have just shown me on the other hand, that you only WANT your own opinion ( Putin’s ) to be the one presented and ONLY YOURS ( again Putin’s) , otherwise, anyone who refuses to accept that in its entirety is a mental invalid ( again your opinion). That unfortunately, is not the way to convince others of the validity of your perspective.
You proved that you have spent your entire life in classrooms being spoonfed selected information like a big fat dumb cow and have no idea how to gather information and come to your own conclusions.
Nope, I have proven that I don’t just accept the narratives given to me from one side. I want to gather ALL POSSIBLE information before forming an opinion.
One thing I DO know — yours is the Putin side. But that’s not the only side to this conflict. You have already sponged us with Purim’s brand of food. Now let’s taste the other sides to see which ones taste the best.
