In general, if you look at just random pictures of crowds from the '80s, most of the people are in good shape, and much better shape than similar pictures of current society. It is a complete societal change with many different factors.
Back in the '80s working out and presenting yourself as physically fit as possible was an emphasis. Movies, commercials, music videos all emphasized physical fitness & generally looking good.
Then came the grunge '90s and first clothing went downhill. Then video games came into prevalence, and it became OK to look like a slob. People became lazy & instead of working out, they yelled "fat shaming" if anybody said you wee fat. So fat became acceptable. Now, fat & slobs are the culture for the most part.
I also blame the fact that women are running our schools and feminizing boys, and there is not as much emphasis on being strong or physically fit - for both boys & girls. The women have demonized strong men. I asked my boys, and they said ther is only 2 years of PE in high school, and they don't really do much.
My boys have baseball during PE time, so they have activity everyday of the year, that that is not normal for everybody. I will say all of my boys work out on their own 2-3 hours a day lifting weights & going to the gym. No girly men here.
I never thought I’d see the day that women went shopping in their pajama bottoms. June Cleaver would pass out if she wore her twirly dress, stockings, heels and gloves through town today!
And, yes, it’s criminal what has been done to men.
I saw a picture on Truth the other day about the Tylenol poisoning in the '80s. The picture was of a drug store clerk taking Tylenol off the shelves. But I noticed the young female clerk had a nice sweater on over a Polo shirt. She had her hair done up, and was wearing makeup. It just struck me that if I walked into a Walgreens or CVS today, the clerks would have sloppy cloths, probably be overweight, have nose rings & tattoos. And that's on a good day.

Wow...wild, indeed....considering STRONG men were the NORM just a couple of decades ago....and, it is STRONG men who go in and do the heavy lifting, in the aftermath of nature’s wrath and destruction....and, considering where we SADLY are, today.

Biden Blasts “Short-Sighted” OPEC+ Cut, Blames US Energy Firms For Surging Pump Prices
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said after today’s production cuts, “OPEC+ is aligning with Russia.”
The Biden administration is absolutely furious with the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC) of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and allies, including Russia, for agreeing to slash oil production by 2 million barrels per day.
CNN’s Chief Congressional Correspondent Manu Raju tweeted that President Biden responded to the OPEC+ cut announcement by saying he’s “concerned” and called it “unnecessary.”
The President will continue to direct SPR releases as appropriate to protect American consumers and promote energy security, and he is directing the Secretar)’ of Energy to explore any additional responsible actions to continue increasing domestic production in the immediate term. The President is also calling on U.S. energy companies to keep bringing pump prices down by closing the historically large gap between wholesale and retail gas prices — so that American consumers are paying less at the pump.
In light of today’s action, the Biden Administration will also consult with Congress on additional tools and authorities to reduce OPEC’s control over energy prices.
Finally, today’s announcement is a reminder of why it is so critical that the United States reduce its reliance on foreign sources of fossil fuels. With the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, the U.S. is nowr poised to make the most significant investment ever in accelerating the clean energy transition while increasing energy security, by increasing our reliance on American-made and American-produced clean energy and energy technologies.

In 2020, Democrats blocked Trump’s proposal to buy American oil at $24 a barrel.
Yesterday, a Biden official disclosed a secret offer to buy OPEC+ oil at $80 a barrel in exchange for not cutting production.
Biden’s efforts backfired. The US is weakened.
“Higher oil prices, if driven by sizeable production cuts, would likely irritate the Biden administration ahead of US midterm elections,” Citi strategists wrote in a note.
Citi strategists appear correct: CNN obtained some of the draft talking points circulated by the White House to the Treasury Department this week and called the prospect of a production cut a “total disaster” and “hostile act.”
“There could be further political reactions from the US, including additional releases of strategic stocks,” the strategists added. They said the Biden administration could also push forward with an anti-trust bill targeting OPEC.
But that’s not all. According to Bloomberg, White House officials are discussing possible export bans on gasoline, diesel, and other refined petroleum with the Energy Department.
People familiar with discussions said administration officials are discussing export bans of refined products with top oil industry leaders as the risk of an OPEC+ reduction could catapult fuel pump prices higher ahead of the midterm elections in November.
Top oil execs and industry experts have blasted the proposed export ban, saying it could backfire and result in even higher gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel prices, while throwing energy markets into turmoil in Europe ahead of winter.
In a letter to the Energy Department, Exxon’s CEO Darren Woods wrote last week that “continuing current Gulf Coast exports is essential to efficiently rebalance markets—particularly with diverted Russian supplies.”
“Reducing global supply by limiting US exports to build region-specific inventory will only aggravate the global supply shortfall,” Woods said.
On Tuesday, the American Petroleum Institute warned any attempt to ban exports will disrupt not just global markets but harm US national security and geopolitical standing.

It's unclear whether the FBI has arrested a single person following at least 150 attacks, threats and other incidents against pro-life advocacy groups, crisis pregnancy centers and churches following the May 2 leak of the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, according to a Daily Caller News Foundation investigation.
There have been at least 73 attacks on pregnancy centers and pro-life offices, along with at least 83 attacks on Catholic churches, since the court's decision was leaked to the public, according to CatholicVote, a Catholic political advocacy group. The FBI says it is investigating these incidents, some of which are being viewed as potential domestic extremism, but declined to tell the DCNF whether a single arrest had been made in a series of pro-abortion attacks since May. ...

I’m sure OPEC+ will be moved by a temper tantrum from the Bye-done Regime.
The strategic reserve is down to 22 days, and Biden is going to continue selling it.
I doubt if they have any plans to replenish it.
