Thanks. Was just taking a break, from chores, and, was reading thread about this…

Just horrible. Where do these young men go, to get their health, or, LIVES back? 😢
A poem posted, on that thread, is haunting. :-(
Wow…incredible.
Yes it’s what they call a dual fuel, configured just like you said. Luckily there is gas at the house, even though we are in the county not city.
I didn’t want one of your lovely pies to go to waste! Did you use your bird steam releasing thing?
Wouldn’t it be fun if we all lived close together! Lots of golden girl moments over your delicious pies!
Happy Thanksgiving, Judy and family!
Sounds delicious, as always.
Thanks. I’m doing chores too, had to stop and eat something.
Lol I’ve yet to see a pig on this pig farm, other than when they get driven away in those big trucks with all the cage-like structure.
They do walk around like they own the place. The kids sneak up behind them and “burp” them. If you put your arms around one and give it a little squeeze, they burp lol. It’s pretty funny.
Oh, and that nasty rooster got the daylight whooped out of him by the younger rooster lol. The younger one is very gentle, has yet to bother anyone. So old crabby rooster got out of his new pen at the back and thought he’d go back to the chicken area and take his territory back. The kids watched him - he went strutting in there like the other guy was going to clear out because the king had arrived. Instead, a short battle ensued, and old crabby rooster limped back to his pen, bloodied and humiliated. Good stuff.
Congrats, Grammy!
Do you think the baby’s arrival will ring those wedding bells?
💞
Thanks, Jane!
Perfect weather for it - cool, sunny, leaves are turning, wood stove putting the smell of smoke into the air....all the scents of Thanksgiving!
“ New PayPal Policy Lets Company Pull $2,500 From Users’ Accounts If They Promote ‘Misinformation’”
That should be illegal!
I’m going to have to disconnect my PayPal account from my bank and credit card. My son is paying back a loan through PayPal so i can’t cancel it completely yet.
Ironically PayPal was handy when I bought ivermectin from India, lol
You have enough really good material, from the farm, to write today’s Charlotte’s Web.
Love hearing these farm stories. You’ve got quite the collection of beautiful stories.
Sounds perfect!!
I had a bar (my fave peanut butter “clean” food bar), that is now long gone.
I best get back to work. Not too much left, to finish up.
“The statewide analysis of vaccinated Florida residents aged 18 years or older (pdf) found an 84 percent increase in the relative incidence of cardiac-related deaths among males aged 18–39, within 28 days of mRNA vaccination.”
Excellent! This makes this news almost mainstream, enough so people should be asking questions.
“When did she move here to US?”
In the late 50’s. She met my dad during the war, then he was stationed in Germany for a few years after being stationed in Italy. I don’t know if they ever came to the US to visit or not, I don’t remember any mention of it.
Lol I’m hoping so! I know my once-in-awhile comments haven’t done anything lol. Formal marriage aside, they’ve been together for about 7 years and seem to really enjoy each other and have a nice time.
In all honesty, I didn’t warm to her at first because she seemed like a bit of a princess, and made the odd comment that made her sound like a feminist. Over time, she has really changed. They bought a property out in the country and have been fixing it up for awhile now (great story some day about how they got it). She never used to cook and didn’t like cleaning much. She worked in the city (Hamilton) in the hospital.
Well, after cashing in nicely when we sold the house, we helped the kids out with a nice wad of cash. Because of the great deal my son got on this fixer-upper, his gift completely paid off his mortgage. That allowed my s/b daughter-in-law to quit working. I was quite happy that she did, as I hated to see her driving for an hour back and forth to work, plus it was a lot of juggling for them, as she has a daughter 10 years old.
Well, she loves it at home. Is cooking, canning, home-schooling, and has a little sign and craft selling business. She had just never considered that staying home could be such a great thing - I guess she, like most, bought all the lies about career being the be all and end all.
Anyway, more information than you probably wanted lol. Sorry for rambling on!
“I am a little disappointed in the lack of empathy for me for taking on such a burdensome task. “
I did offer to help, but that pie couldn’t have been snatched from my hands any quicker!
“ Going out to look for red knobs for my stove today.”
LOL!
“We’ll be lucky if she remembers to put the ham in the oven lol.“
That’s ok as long as she WINS!!
Thanks, CB.
The man she’s running against is akin to an establishment guy vs. an outsider. She’s getting feedback from a number of people about things he’s saying about her....not true, of course, but she’s not biting. Campaigning above the fray, so to speak.
You DID offer. That was terribly kind of you. So, is your oven electric or gas?
