X-ers are, to me, a tweener group.
Most (another broad brush, see above) will see a problem and then rely on what someone else’s experience [a computer/database] spits back at them.

They don’t get the value of seeing the full cause of the problem, it just gets fixed.
Example: How to clear a stopped-up toilet with a plunger.
YooToob doesn’t tell you that your daughter’s (?? son’s ??) disposing of tampons in the toilet is the cause.
In today’s wired world, I’m guilty of this too.
But, not the tampon thing...
There area lot of us X-ers that were taught how to “hold the light”. We were exposed to fixing stuff. Our kids, not so much. Remember, us X-ers didn’t have computers until we were older.
