We have a Niece who is a teacher in inner-city Milwaukeestan. She is white, all of her Kindergarten students are not.
She is a real sweetheart, but as naive as they come.

My own sister teaches math in inner city Baltimore at a somewhat elite magnet school. She is 69 years old and has never been a starry-eyed liberal kook. She’s as conservative and practical as they come. She uses tried and true old fashioned methods to teach math and gets real results. This is her last year of teaching. That old breed of math teachers who got results are almost gone now
I pray for the safety of your niece. I totally understand the dangers she faces. The average duration of a teacher these days is under five years. The turnover in the education business is absolutely horrendous. How long has she been at it?
