Democratic Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut is worried that if the GOP takes over either house of Congress in the midterm elections, that will spell the end for funding the war in Ukraine. Journalistic servants of empire Paul Waldman and Greg Sargent dutifully repeat Murphy’s words in the pages of the Washington Post, raising the alarm and fearmongering about the calamitous lack of war that might ensue if Republicans win an electoral victory.

I don’t get it. We don’t have military treaty with Ukraine. We shouldn’t even want them in NATO, as it just enflames tensions and doesn’t give us anything. Is it about Russia hate? Not my favorite country but it’s not like they are China either. If our Government had things well in hand in our own country then I guess I could grant them some leeway for foreign adventures, but as it is we have need of ever single cent. It doesn’t serve American interests to help Ukraine, and that is the only thing our Government should be concerned with. Honestly you think that we should defend Ukraine when our own border is being overrun? Personally, any candidate that has Ukraine as a primary plank of their platform I will pass on, unless their opponent is even worse.

Very very well said... That is it in a nutshell. at some point common sense priorities need to be set to protect the future prosperity of our Children. Period. Stop enriching and choosing the Military Industrial Complex over our own Children.
