PLATTEVILLE, Colo. (KMGH) – A freight train collided into a police cruiser parked on train tracks with a woman trapped inside.
Locked inside the cruiser was 20-year-old Yareni Rios-Gonzalez. Police detained her for an alleged road rage incident earlier in the night

Just instinctively, one would think they wouldn’t park on a train track with or without anyone in the cruiser. In fact it’s difficult to come up with a worse place to park a vehicle.
Much more to the point: Had the cops not been sick excuses for LE, she would not be in the hospital.
I sure hope she makes it with a full recovery. And a pocket full of $$$$.
At that time had she already been convicted or still just a suspect?
That is simply an unwarranted presumption. More likely, the train slowed down enough not to kill the captive.

I’m with you. I usually give cops the benefit of the doubt, but I really can’t come up with any possible scenario where they aren’t just too stupid to be public servants. They shouldn’t be employed anywhere but... well, I was going to say McDonalds, but I wouldn’t trust them to handle my food, either, so... janitors, maybe? They could do that?
The cops need better Training
After watching all that, I am guessing the cop with the AR
- Made sure to check if the woman had been vaccinated
- Checked to see if there was any damage to the train
- Wrote a ticket for the train engineer/driver for being in the wrong lane and driving recklessly
